A Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY

Outside my window...   is a nonwinter wonderland.  There is next to NO snow which is so unusual for this time of year.

I am thinking...  the kids are working really well today for being back to school.

I am thankful...  that they are working well and so far, getting along well.  :)

In the kitchen...  I sit at my computer, Danny sits with his watching brainpop.  The kitchen, the main room in the house.

I am wearing...  Jeans?  Yip, dressed, right up to my running shoes.  :)

I am creating... 

I am going...  into town later to stock up on water.  Yeah, we do what we need to do.

I am wondering...  how certain things will happen in the next week or so.  We need some miracles and I need to put my trust in God.  Sometimes it's hard not to worry.  Luckily, nothing is too too serious and life threatening but some miracles, nonetheless.

I am reading...  several devotionals and will be starting Ted Dekker's Heaven Trilogy today.

I am hoping...  that I will be stronger in my faith.  I feel so weak sometimes.

I am looking forward to...  the weekend ( is that bad?)  lol

I am learning...  to not sweat the small things.

Around the house...  We got a new refrigerator this week and I'm hoping to get all my cabinets cleaned this week.  Laundry is spinning and not much changes around here.

I am pondering...  God will provide a way.  He always does.

A few plans for the rest of the week... nothing out of the ordinary.  School, shopping, the gym, hanging out.

A peek into my day:  I was up at 7 and we started school around 9.  My youngest is almost done and and my oldest has studying yet to do.  I have laundry on the go, I have done my dishes and the dogs and kidlets have all been fed and watered for about 10 minutes ( until they are hungry again.  lol)  This afternoon will entail and trip into town to drop my oldest off at hubby's shop so they can go into Red Deer for football.  No plans this evening.  I do hope to get the inside of my bottom shelves done today.  I wish I was a more exciting person but this, my friends, is my life.  lol  :)  Frankly, I'm content with it.
